Did you know chess was born in India, nearly 1500 years ago? By the 10th century, it had spread across the continent and into Europe, and today is played all over the world! It’s a mentally stimulating game that teaches a variety of valuable tools, like self-discipline, time management, analytical thinking, and even improves math skills and self-confidence! That’s what ChessKidsNation sets out to achieve with every student we coach in the exciting ways of chess. We aim to teach kids how to play, think, and have endless fun in chess! Our coaching began and is based in Hoover, Alabama, but has spread across North America as we educate minds young and old on how to play chess. We hold regular tournaments and watch our students grow into chess champions! Learn more about our chess courses and programs by contacting us at Contact@ChessKidsNation.com!

CLIENT Testimonials

“Both of my sons Dev (6th grader) and Ved (2nd grader) are ChessKidsNation students since about two years. During this period, they have developed their passion for Chess under Coach Balagee’s excellent coaching and guidance. As part of the ChessKidsnation team, they enjoy participating in several weekly and monthly tournaments. They both are recently placed in AL Scholastic Chess Championship and I couldn’t thank Coach Balagee and his coaches enough for their coaching and guidance.”

“Micah Ying is in 2nd grade and he is playing chess for ChessKidsNation since August 2019. Micah was overjoyed when he was selected to play in the Alabama State Championship. It’s been amazing to witness Micah’s growth ever since he started taking lessons from Coach Balagee and playing for ChessKidsNation (CKN). As a young player, he appreciates seeing how the other CKN players demonstrate great sportsmanship and cheer each out on. It really inspires him to continue learning and grow in his love for chess.”
