March 2012 Sullivan Chess tournament 

Namratha Mohan our online chess student from Wisconsin participated in Sullivan Chess tournament conducted by WSCF. She played in K-5 division, 6 rounds with 42 kids. She won all her 6 games and came 2nd in the tournament. She was also part of her school team and they finished in 3rd Place.

Individual Championship
  1. Elementary (4 & 5 Grade) – Samson Sands – Third
  2. Junior High ( 8 & 9 Grade) – Joshua Anders – Third
  3. Open (K-12) – Jonathan Anders – Third Place
Team Championship
  1. Primary (K-3) – Deer Valley School Team won 2nd Place
  2. Elementary (K-6) – ChessKidsNation Team won 1st Place (Won all our rounds)
  3. Open (K-12) – ChessKidsNation Team won 1st Place (Won all our rounds)

March 2012 – Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy

Savitra Kulkarni one of our online student from North Carolina was part of his School Chess Team ‘Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy”. He played in “Third Team Tournament” held on April 28th. He won all his games he played and his school won the first place with 7.5 points.

March 2012 Parkview Chess Tournament

Namratha Mohan, our online chess student from Wisconsin, won 2nd place in Green Bay, WI. She won 5 out of 6 games.

  • Nithik Balachandaran – Nithik is our online student from Atlanta. He played in K-5 U800 Section and won 6.5 points out of 7. He was tied for the FIRST place. On the Tie-Break he got FOURTH
  • Gokul Premkumar our online student from Atlanta who won K-3 U600. Gokul won the FIRST place in this

1. Colin Bamford came First in Rooks Section
2. Riley Smith came second in Knights Section
3. Vikhram Balagee came first in Reserve Section and won Cash Prize as well.

Gokul – Is our online student from Atlanta finished 3rd place in the Scholastic event in his section. He won 4 out of his 5 games.
Pranav Rajbhandari – Is our online student from Atlanta finished 3rd place in his section in the Scholastic event. He won 4 out of his 5 games.
